There was this guy see.
He wasn't very bright and he reached his adult life without ever having learned "the facts".
Somehow, it gets to be his wedding day.
While he is walking down the isle, his father tugs his sleeve and says,

"Son, when you get to the hotel room...Call me"

Hours later he gets to the hotel room with his beautiful blushing bride and he calls his father,

"Dad, we are the hotel, what do I do?"

"O.K. Son, listen up, take off your clothes and get in the bed, then she should take off her clothes and get in the bed, if not help her. Then either way, ah, call me"

A few moments later...

"Dad we took off our clothes and we are in the bed, what do I do?"

O.K. Son, listen up. Move real close to her and she should move real close to you, and then... Ah, call me."

A few moments later...

"DAD! WE TOOK OFF OUR CLOTHES, GOT IN THE BED AND MOVED REAL CLOSE, WHAT DO I DO???"

"O.K. Son, Listen up, this is the most important part. Stick the long part of your body into the place where she goes to the bathroom."

A few moments later...

"Dad, I've got my foot in the toilet, what do I do?"

Dear Paul,
You said it well in your message. Your Dad is free. I’ll bet he is running around heaven kicking up a storm. We prayed for you on Sunday and your family. Let me know when the service is as I would like to be there if I can.

Hi Paul,I'm glad your dad is in heaven and not suffering any longer. I have been reading a book called "a place for you" about heaven its been encouaging to me, thinking about eternity with Jesus.
I hope in your time of mourning you can be comforted by our church family, and we will help any way we can.

Paul,

Thank you for sharing this journey with others. I’m crying now and you’ve messed up my make up. Your dad knew there is a “joy set before us” that gave him abundant grace. He died well. Dennis and I were with my father in law in the last three days of this life. His relationship with Jesus was so new I didn’t know if his faith would be strong enough to see him through. It was the most amazing spiritual experience I’ve ever witnessed and we were blessed beyond measure. I know you were blessed too but now you have so many emotions to sort through and decisions to make. My prayer will be for a continuance of grace that is yours now to claim as your dad did.

Prayers of friendship to you, Jenny, your mom, and family,
Barbara

Hey beloved Ingrams,
Our hearts go out to all of your family. We are thinking of each one
of you and how this will affect you differently. Your
mom......wow...to face the rest of life without him. Thinking of my
own husband, I can hardly imagine it.
So....just to let you know that God connects you deeply to people you
welcome into your hearts....last night I dreamt that your dad passed.
It wasn't like a dream with some sort of story that plays out. It was
more a moment of immense grief that hit me while dreaming, and your
family was there, hanging onto each other, and I knew that it had
happened. I told Mark about it this afternoon, as something jogged
that memory and he told me about your email, and that your Dad had
passed. I don't know what else to say, other than we love your family
so deeply that your grief is felt even as we sleep.
Please let us know what we can do to help you in the days to come. If
you need some adult time, we can take the kids in late afternoon till
bedtime. If you need meals...let us bring some food. If you need a
moment of escape...to help take steps toward the joys and giggles life
offers, you know we are good for that too. Or hugs. Anything.
all our love,
Lisa and family
